EcoSmart Community Gardens
This WCOT video on EcoSmart community gardens focuses on how Tallahassee is converting vacant lots and portions of public parks into gardens, as well as the City's application process in starting a garden. This presentation follows community organizers, planners, commissioners and local leaders. It features the Frenchtown Garden on 4th Ave., the Betton Hills Community Garden, Southwood Community Garden, and the Wesson Center garden.

Please review the City of Tallahassee's application materials listed below (for the County's program, please see the link above). TFN Staff is available to discuss potential city-owned properties in your neighborhood that are appropriate for gardens, garden design, and proper siting on the property.
